Why we exist?

In the construction industry, data has traditionally been scattered and hard to access. Metroc was founded to address this challenge by developing a platform that simplifies the gathering and analysis of construction data. Our platform helps construction and real estate companies operate more efficiently by providing essential market insights and effective customer acquisition tools.

Our timeline

2019

Metroc is founded

Our story begins with a mission to make construction industry data accessible and actionable, helping companies save hundreds of hours in project discovery and customer acquisition.

2020

First product launched & first customers

We launched our initial products and acquired over 100 customers within the first year. Our team grew to 8 employees, laying the foundation for rapid growth.

2021

Angel investment round

We secured a €300,000 angel funding round to accelerate product development and market entry.

2022

Sweden expansion & team growth

We expanded operations to Sweden, marking our first international step. We expanded both our product capabilities and team to meet growing customer needs in Finland and Sweden.

2023

€2 million seed funding round

We raised a €2 million seed round led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from notable angel investors. The funding enabled us to focus on AI development, Nordic market growth, and expanding our sales and tech teams.

2024

Team doubled, AI launch & major partnership

  • Our team grew from 15 to 27 employees, strengthening sales, product, and customer success.
  • We became the first in Europe to launch an AI service for finding upcoming construction projects.
  • Announced a strategic partnership with Easoft to accelerate digitalization in construction.
